Questions

How does a day work?

Crank Twisty once a day and you get one quest. It's yours until midnight. Do it, add some proof if you like, and tap Done it!

I don't like today's quest. Can I change it?

Yes. You get two swaps a day: pick a mood and Twisty finds you something else.

Will I lose my streak if I skip a day?

Not right away. Your streak includes one rest day a week, so missing a single day doesn't break it.

How do I add the widgets?

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Twistday and pick a size. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and choose Twistday.

What's the Live Activity?

Tap I'm in! on today's quest and it shows up on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a Done it! button so you can finish without opening the app. If you don't see it, check Settings → Twistday → Live Activities.

My reminders aren't showing up.

Check Settings → Notifications → Twistday and make sure Allow Notifications is on. You can choose when your capsule is ready in the app's settings under Reminders. Focus modes can also hold notifications back.

What does “Check the weather” do?

When it's on, Twistday skips outdoor quests when it's raining and pins where you did each quest on your recap map. It uses your location only while you use the app, rounded so it's never exact. Turn it off any time in the app, or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. Details are in the privacy policy.

Where is my data, and how do I delete it?

Everything lives only on your iPhone. There's no account and nothing is stored on a server. To delete it all, delete the app.

Can I get a quest I had before?

No. Twisty never repeats a quest, so each one is a one-time thing.

What do I need?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Twistday is free, with no account and no ads.
